At AEW Revolution, it was revealed that Christian Cage was the "Hall of Fame-worthy" new AEW signing. 'The Instant Classic' made it to the final 4 entrants in the 2021 Men's Royal Rumble only a few months prior. Fans were shocked by his confirmation that he is now "All Elite."

Scheduled to make his debut this past week on AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage's time was taken by AEW World Champion Kenny Omega instead. 'The Cleaner' was bragging about his Revolution title defence when he was confronted by Christian Cage.

After the two exchanged words, Kenny Omega attempted a cheap shot at Christian before Captain Charisma countered into an Unprettier attempt. Fortunately for the AEW World Champion, he was pulled from the ring to safety by Don Callis.

However, Christian was not done. The former WWE Superstar then grabbed the AEW World Championship and stared at it, hinting that's the reason why he decided to sign with All Elite Wrestling. This has led many to believe that we could be about to see Kenny Omega defend the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage in the near future.

Once thought an impossibility, Kenny Omega vs Christian Cage is without a doubt a dream match. Not only would the match be a technical masterpiece, but the story of Christian Cage's miraculous return to the ring and then possibly winning the AEW World Championship reads like a fairytale.
