#2. Bryan Danielson vs. Cesaro
Fans have been buzzing over the prospect of Cesaro joining AEW since he left WWE. Some are even expecting the pop for his debut to be as big as it was in Bryan Danielson's first appearance.
Although he was initially recieved warmly, The American Dragon has been showcasing his very violent tendencies lately. He's been running through talented youth in order to manifest his vision of a 'Dragon Dojo' stable. And he's currently targeting Jon Moxley as a potential partner in the venture.
Danielson's match against Moxley at Revolution has become a highly-anticipated event. However, a wildcard thrown into the mix might work well to create a more dynamic storyline, and the Swiss Superman certainly has the potential to be that wildcard.
Fans will be forgiven for thinking that 'The King of Swing' does not have mic skills. While he's been given free rein on the mic a depressingly small number of times, the former WWE Superstar has produced some very good promos in the past. Whatever he lacks can easily be handled by an experienced speaker like Bryan Danielson.
If the two were to face off, Danielson would need to utilize every aspect of his technical wizardry to take down a guy like Cesaro. While the Swiss Superman has extraordinary strength, he also has quite a few unconventional moves in his arsenal. A match between the two would be a treat no matter how it happens.
#1. Eddie Kingston vs. Cesaro
Eddie Kingston has seemingly already thrown down the gauntlet to Cesaro. The two wrestlers have had a long history of battles across promotions like PWG and IWA Mid-South. Their final series went down in Chikara, which the Swiss superstar won.
Kingston apparently never got over the loss. He's taken several shots at his former rival in the past, calling him "the big Swiss idiot in WWE". Although Cesaro has never had the chance to respond, that could change if he makes his way to All Elite Wrestling.
The implications of the former WWE Superstar joining AEW are quite straight-forward from Eddie Kingston's perspective. It doesn't matter what The Swiss Superman's initial feud entails; The Mad King will likely attack him at the first opportunity.
Their fights have always been a treat to watch, owing to Cesaro's hard-hitting style and Kingston's unhinged and reckless nature. AEW could be a fresh new ground for them to rekindle the old rivalry.
