#2 Adam Cole has nothing left to achieve in NXT
There's no denying that Adam Cole is the most accomplished superstar in NXT history. During his four-year stint with the yellow and black brand, Adam Cole became the NXT North American Champion, a tag team champion, and last but not least, held the NXT Championship for 403 days, which is the longest in the brand's history.
The former leader of the Undisputed era has achieved everything there is to offer in NXT. Even if he ends up getting the main roster call-up, it doesn't mean Vince McMahon will treat him as a main event talent.
We have witnessed several former WWE superstars like Malakai Black and Andrade El Idolo, who ended up becoming a shadow of themselves on the main roster.
Given the legacy that Adam Cole created in NXT, he wouldn't want to diminish while working under Vince McMahon. The Chairman isn't keen on pushing smaller guys too often.
It is in Adam Cole's best interest to join AEW and emphasize his momentum. Considering the roster Tony Khan holds at the moment, Adam Cole won't be short of opponents. He could become one of their frontrunners to carry out the company for years.
