#4 Some current big-name AEW stars have yet to win titles.
When a big name in wrestling shows up in AEW, it's a big deal. Jon Moxley, Sting, and CM Punk are the biggest instances of big-name wrestlers joining the promotion.
The additions of Malakai Black, Andrade, and some more stars will help out in the long run. Chavo Guerrero, Mark Henry, and Paul Wight all joined AEW as well.

AEW can introduce a Legends Championship like TNA Impact used to have. However, the veterans are there for purposes other than in-ring action.
Moxley and Jericho have already won the AEW Championship, but several big additions have not. Proud and Powerful are an asset to AEW but they are yet to win the Tag Team belts. Brian Cage is also a great signing, but until recently, he had been toiling away at Team Tazz.
The Lucha Bros are inarguably one of the top tag teams in the world. Unfortunately, they failed to grab the gold in several opportunities. FTR won the tag team titles but had a reign of only 63 days.
MJF has all the makings of a world champion but his trajectory does not include titles. He has won the Dynamite Diamond Ring, but that is nowhere near a championship.
Since so many big names have yet to even win the mid-card title in AEW, it seems like another Championship is needed.
The roster is growing by the month and AEW has added another show. Because of those factors alone, another title would be a good idea for AEW.
