EC3 will have no problem with the inner workings of AEW. As previously mentioned, he would have some degree of control over his character, but also he would be walking into a positive atmosphere and a one team mentality that is a far cry from his time at WWE.
The former 24/7 Champion made it clear when he left WWE that he had lost a lot of passion for the business during his time on the main roster. If anything, AEW will reignite that fire in his belly just like the company has done with wrestlers like Bryan Danielson and CM Punk.
#3 EC3 would have some new and familiar faces as opponents
One thing that would no doubt be a standout reason for EC3 joining AEW would be the number of new and old opponents he would be able to face. He could lock horns once again with his former NXT mentor Bryan Danielson with the shackles finally off.
EC3 has never faced opponents such as Orange Cassidy, MJF and Kenny Omega. It would allow the heavyweight to tick off some matches he may not have been able to have elsewhere.
