Having Hangman Page as the AEW World Champion would be a win-win situation for both parties.

This equation would not only allow Hangman Page to carry the company, but would give Kenny Omega a well-deserving break from pro-wrestling.

If the recent reports are true, Kenny Omega is currently dealing with multiple infections in the form of a stomach virus, bone bruises near his tailbone, and some wear & tear on his knees. Although there is some good news on that front, it cannot be argued that Kenny Omega deserves a break.

The Cleaner himself stated that he was considering retiring from the wrestling business. One cannot deny that Kenny Omega has consistently been working with multiple promotions and headlining various cards around the world.

On top of that, he's holding top championships across three companies right now - AEW, IMPACT Wrestling, and AAA. All Elite Wrestling could grant him a leave of absence to reduce his workload for the time being.

A small hiatus from the promotion would not only help The Best Bout Machine deal with his injuries, but it would also enable him to prolong his wrestling career. With the All Out pay-per-view not far away, the company could book Hangman Page to dethrone Kenny Omega to become the new AEW World Champion.
