So, a contract signing segment was scheduled to happen between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega to make their match at 'Winter is Coming' official. And lo and behold, Jon Moxley, a man who never backs out of a challenge failed to show up for the same, leaving many guessing about where he was.
It turns out that Jon Moxley was laid out in the backstage area by a mystery attacker whose identity we do not yet know.
It would be far too obvious to reveal Kenny Omega as Jon Moxley's attacker, meaning that there is someone else in the AEW roster who attacked the World Champion.
Jon Moxley vs. this particular attacker could wage a war without the title on the line and it would still be an engrossing feud. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega could embrace a little more of the tweener side that he's teased recently, and mix it up with a whole new set of competitors.
