Thunder Rosa is one of the most exciting wrestlers who is a part of AEW at the moment. She stands out with a remarkable individual character, whereas AEW has been criticized for having too many stars whose only gimmick is that they are "pure wrestlers".

Rosa was an exception to the rule immediately upon her arrival in the promotion. With her face paint, she already had a more compelling presentation than most of the other wrestlers in AEW's women's division.

She was also the NWA World Women's Champion coming into AEW, and her star power was evident right away. Whenever she was involved in a segment, the crowd sat up and took notice.

This ability to attract the fans' attention is critical for a division that was talked about for having uninteresting feuds and matches. For a long time, many critics argued that AEW's women's wrestlers didn't have strong characters and/or dynamic storylines.

But Thunder Rosa immediately changed that, and she can continue to elevate the division as its the champion.
