The 2024 AEW Full Gear event is going to take place later this month on November 23, and it will be the sixth iteration of the annual pay-per-view. It will emanate from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Five singles matches and one four-way tag team match have already been added to the event's match card. The event is still around two weeks away, which means more matches can be added.
Several top stars are going to be featured on the card. While some will win and others will be on the losing end, here are five stars who we think must not lose at the upcoming PPV.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#1. Jon Moxley
A few weeks ago, Jon Moxley attacked retired star Chuck Taylor on Dynamite for trying to stand up to him in his war against Tony Khan and AEW. Last week, Taylor's friend Orange Cassidy confronted him for his actions and now the two stars are set to battle it out at Full Gear for the AEW World Championship.
The Purveyor of Violence will fight to assert his dominance while The Freshly Squeezed Star will try to dethrone and crumble the champ's empire. That said, Moxley can't afford to lose this match as it will not only cost him the championship belt but also take away the credibility he has established with the BCC very recently.
#2 & #3. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen (Private Party)
Private Party recently won the AEW World Tag Team Championships from The Young Bucks. They will put their newly won title on the line in a four-way tag team match.
The Outrunners will go against Top Flight, FTR against the House of Black, and The Acclaimed against La Faccion Ingobernable in qualifying matches to advance to the title bout at Full Gear.
The AEW World Tag Team Championship win was Zay and Quen's first title victory in AEW. They have recently picked up momentum in the promotion. Losing their title at Full Gear would be a major setback in their progress.
#4. Hangman Page
Hangman Page will go head-to-head with Jay White once again at the upcoming Full Gear event. The two stars competed in a singles match at WrestleDream which the latter won.
This time, Page should pick up the victory which would give both stars a win each in their ongoing feud. This would ensure the continuation of their rivalry for a few more months. Their rivalry began when Page cost Switchblade a chance to win the Owen Hart Cup earlier this year.
#5. Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley made his debut on the October 30 edition of Dynamite and attacked Swerve Strickland. It seems that AEW is building up a feud between The All Mighty and The Realest Star. Following the brutal assault by the Hurt Syndicate, Tony Khan could potentially add their match to the Full Gear PPV.
It might also mark Lashley's first match in AEW. Therefore, he must win his debut match to radiate supremacy after being introduced as a dominant force.
