#4. The reformation of Killer Elite Squad in AEW
After a lackluster run as a singles competitor in AEW, Lance Archer should reform his old tag team, The Killer Elite Squad, with former Suzuki-gun stablemate Davey Boy Smith, Jr. It could end up giving him the push he needs to make his mark in the company.
Seeing such a sizable heavyweight team battling such high-flyers like The Lucha Bros or The Young Bucks could also make for a breath of fresh air in the current tag team division.
In the past, Archer has teamed up with his old ally, Minoru Suzuki, so it's not impossible to see him join forces with Smith. The possibility is more probable now Smith is once again a free agent following his release from WWE.
#3. Guerrillas of Destiny Go All Elite
NJPW's Guerrillas of Destiny is one of those tag teams whose booking would essentially write itself. Given their past relationships with company founders Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and The Young Bucks, the GOD's AEW debut could make for a fantastic feud with their former stablemate-turned-bitter rivals, The Elite.
The possibility of The Elite vs. Bullet Club never reached its full potential in NJPW. But over the last few years, there's been several teasers hinting at a showdown between the two groups.
While having the Guerrillas of Destiny appearing in AEW wouldn't necessarily be the same as having the entire Bullet Club debut, seeing the former team alone on Dynamite or Rampage is an intriguing notion, capitalizing on a rivalry that's been years in the making.
