#1 MJF proves himself as a main-eventer to conclude AEW All Out
MJF has undoubtably been one of the breakout stars for AEW since its inception. His ability on the microphone and as a character has allowed him to move past many to become one of the best heels in all of wrestling. At AEW All Out, Maxwell Jacob Friedman was given his biggest opportunity yet in the main event against AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
There definitely were questions whether the self-proclaimed Face of AEW would deliver with such a platform. The answer was clearly, yes. MJF had a breakout performance in the main event of AEW All Out. The storytelling in his contest with Moxley was top notch with MJF dominating in the ring, while the champion would get the advantage on the outside.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
The psychology and bloodshed from the 24-year-old elevated this encounter and made the title even more important coming out of AEW All Out. MJF clearly showed that he can not only present himself as a main eventer on the mic but also in the ring. The finish to the match protected MJF and opens the door for more matches with Moxley for the title down the road.
It was definitely a polarizing reaction to AEW All Out, but the company had some great performance from top to bottom on the show. Although there is plenty for AEW to learn from after this show, there is also plenty for them to hang their hat on.
