AEW stars are huge fans of Eddie Guerrero, and they made it sufficiently clear before and during Full Gear.

Full Gear 2021 and The Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show in 2005 both took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Throughout the show, multiple stars paid tribute to the former WWE Champion.

Did you know a top WWE Superstar just wrestled outside the company? More details HERE

It started with CM Punk dedicating his match against Eddie Kingston to the great Latino Heat and Matt Hardy posting an emotional tweet on the 16th death anniversary of the greatest Latino wrestler of all time.

Penta El Zero Miedo delivered the Three Amigos, as did CM Punk and Dax Harwood during their respective matches. The move was made famous by Eddie Guerrero.

Chris Jericho, a frequent opponent of Guerrero back in the WCW Cruiserweight Division, finished off The Inner Circle vs. American Top Team Minneapolis Street Fight with a frog splash on Dan Lambert. The frog splash was Eddie's finisher as well.

The AEW fans in attendance broke into "Eddie" chants multiple times. Guerrero's influence cannot be understated, and the fact that top stars of the current generation still take inspiration from him is a testament to his incredible legacy.

#1. AEW is firmly behind its Four Pillars

MJF, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, and Sammy Guevara have been touted as the future superstars of AEW. At Full Gear, the company made it abundantly clear that it's fully behind the four talented stars.

MJF and Darby Allin opened the show with an absolute barnburner of a match. Both men wrestled a clinic as the show got off to the best possible start. The Salt of the Earth emerged victorious, albeit with underhanded methods.

Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage defeated the Young Bucks and Adam Cole in a Falls Count Anywhere match that saw Jungle Boy deliver the final con-chair-to to pick up the win.

It was a significant moment in Jungle Boy's career as he requested Captain Charisma to hand him the chair so he could finish the job, thus adding a new layer to his character, a more unforgiving edge to his persona.

Sammy Guevara is the TNT Champion. Though he wasn't the focus of The Inner Circle vs American Top Team feud, he got his moment when Jay Lethal, a 20-year veteran and one of the very few surprises during AEW Full Gear, challenged him for AEW Dynamite. The match will be for the TNT Championship, and the Spanish God is likely to come out on top.

All four pillars shone for sufficient time, and AEW should continue to spotlight their biggest talents in the same vein.
