Orange Cassidy could soon become AEW champion

Kenny Omega's reign as AEW world champion is in serious jeopardy as he will have to defend his title against PAC and Orange Cassidy in a triple threat match at Double or Nothing.

Last week on Dynamite, AEW shared backstage footage of Omega and Callis offering Cassidy a proposal to give up his rights to be in the main event of Double or Nothing, due to injury.

In return, he will get a future AEW world title shot once he is cleared. Freshly squeezed quickly shot down the offer. However, Omega told him to reconsider, and make his decision next week.

Currently, there's no such update provided by AEW regarding Cassidy's neck injury. It looks like he is good to go.

This week on AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy must reject Omega's offer and make his intentions clear for Double or Nothing.

Kenny Omega should then come out to confront Orange Cassidy. The AEW World Champion would cut a classic heelish promo on Cassidy, claiming to end his career at Double or Nothing.

This could provoke Orange Cassidy to launch an attack on the champion, making him escape from the ring. Having Cassidy standing tall in the ring would give him a lot of momentum ahead of the title match.
