5 Triple H dream matches in AEW we'll never see

Triple H will never debut at AEW, but what if he did?

2. Bryan Danielson could get revenge against Triple H

The feud between Triple H and Bryan Danielson is what started the "yes-movement" and shot Danielson to fame. Danielson's rise was held down by Triple H and The Authority. Danielson ended up being victorious, but the beating he took on the way was extreme.

Now a veteran and multi-time champion, Danielson has begun to make a name for himself in AEW. This mean streak would be perfect for Danielson to exercise a grudge against Triple H. Danielson could attack Triple H and remind him of what he did years ago.

Alternatively, the appearance of Triple H could still be that of a villain. A massive threat and a bad guy like Levesque could be what Danielson needs to go back to being a fan favorite. A second feud against Triple H might be difficult to navigate. Seeing them go against each other at AEW shouldn't just be version 2 of the WWE feud.

Seeing both men have another fantastic match is what fans would love to see. Danielson doesn't need to defeat Triple H to prove himself at this point, and neither does Triple H absolutely need the win. Because of this we could have brilliant back and forth wins between the two.

1. Triple H versus Chris Jericho

Ad

Chris Jericho has had a tremendous career. At 51, the wrestler has very few things he hasn't already succeeded at. After leaving WWE, Jericho became the inaugural AEW champion and is currently leading one of the best stables in AEW. A revitalized career and one of the leading wrestlers, Jericho is not the same guy he was in WWE.

Jericho and Triple H have already had feuds in the past. This left a lot of bad blood between the two. Revisiting this feud might open up old wounds and cause both men to take things too far. Their initial feud came during a time when Triple H had a lot of control backstage. This time, Jericho wouldn't be considered a mid-carder.

The history behind this feud might be exactly why Triple H would never go to AEW even if he could. During Bryan Danielson's feud against Triple H, call backs were made to the Jericho feud. This upset him at the time and might be a hint that they still hold grudges.

Triple H most likely won't ever become All Elite. But it would be very interesting if one of WWE's biggest stars jumped ship.
