2. Private Party hit a downward spiral in AEW last year

Private Party came up with a big promise in AEW. They participated in the Tag Team Championship tournament for the crowning of the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions. They shocked the world by eliminating The Young Bucks in the first. They lost in the final against SCU.

The team’s downfall began after they joined HFO under Matt Hardy. Their heel turn didn’t serve them any good. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen are often seen as the henchman beside Matt Hardy. They mostly took part in multi-men tag team bouts instead of regular tag team action.

A WWE Hall of Famer isn't a John Cena fan. More details HERE

The duo possesses mind-blowing athleticism and innovative double-team maneuvers. It’s sad to see them getting lost in the shuffle of HFO. Let’s hope they come around to the situation this year.

1. Santana and Ortiz are still looking for gold after 2021

Santana and Ortiz were the most decorated tag team along with The Young Bucks before joining AEW. They held the Impact Wrestling tag team belts five times. Last year they gave us a classic trilogy with FTR.

But they haven’t seen success in terms of winning the championship in AEW. They played a vital role in The Inner-Circle storylines. They provided memorable moments in both of the Stadium Stampede.

They are currently working with Eddie Kingston against Daniel Garcia, 2.0. They have mastered the tag team psychology and paid their dues before joining AEW. They also gave us solid promos with every opportunity. It’s time to see them at the top of the tag team division rather than being the supporting act for The Inner Circle.
