#2. Seven-time WWE Tag Team Champions Edge & Christian would do well in AEW
Christian Cage is looking to make his way up in AEW with the IMPACT World Championship in hand. He made a surprise return to the ring in 2021 and has looked unstoppable ever since.
Christian’s wrestling career seemed to be over after he suffered an injury in WWE, but he made a return, much like his best friend Edge. Captain Charisma recalled making the switch, explaining that he spoke with Edge about the move in an interview with ET Canada.

“I did talk to him about it and told him, you know, where my head was, what I was going to do. And, of course, what you do when you're best friends, you support each other no matter what. And he understood that we both have some things that we want to accomplish. And we also understand that we have to go where we’re best served.”
According to WWE Superstar Edge, he was in negotiations with AEW at one point. However, he chose to stay loyal to Vince McMahon and not sign with AEW.
“Some discussions were had. The one thing that I told them through all of this is: when you give me your offer, I need to go talk to Vince," said Edge. "He’s done right by me my entire career. He gave me my chance, he gave me my shot. Trusted me to be able to pull off a lot of things, be a pillar for his shows.”
The two men could look to reunite and have a final run in the ring as Edge & Christian. That could be possible in AEW, where veterans are being offered some good contracts, and more importantly, are being treated with the respect they deserve.
It would be great to see E&C win the AEW World Tag Team Championships before the two legends call it a day.
