Hikaru Shida has been a great Champion since dethroning Nyla Rose

There have been plenty of criticisms sent the way of the AEW women's division since Dynamite began a year ago. While plenty of them are valid, one person who can't be criticized is the AEW Women's Champion, Hikaru Shida. Each of her matches has been great to see, and after dethroning NWA Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa back at All Out, Shida will have her sights set on another challenge at Full Gear, in the form of the returning Dr. Britt Baker.

Baker only recently made her return to Dynamite inside the ring, but she looked better than ever, and with more muscle on her body, we may now see her rise up the ranks within AEW. It's likely that AEW would want the title on Baker, as she has been a focal point of the decision since their first-ever press conference in Jacksonville almost two years ago, so this could spell the end for Shida's young championship reign.

If Britt continues to improve, this could be a show-stealer given the quality of the two women involved. If AEW play it right, this rivalry may be the spark that leads to the improvement of AEW's women's division.
