#1. Bryan Danielson will have to jump through obstacles for his next AEW World title shot
The opening match of AEW Dynamite saw Adam Cole take on the young Jungle Boy. The difference in experience levels between the two AEW stars was massive, but Jungle Boy put on an incredible effort.
Jungle Boy took it to Cole, who tapped into his veteran instinct to use the only second he had to cheat. Right asCole was pressed up against referee Aubrea Edwards, he realized that her vision was obstructed. He hit Jungle Boy with a low blow and picked up the win.
After the match, all of The Elite came out and cut a promo, with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega telling Bryan Danielson that he wouldn't get a shot at the title or a rematch with him.
Danielson came out and challenged any of the members of The Elite to a match for AEW Rampage, with Omega suggesting that he have a match on Dynamite. Danielson came with backup in the form of Frankie Kazarian, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, and Christian Cage, who all ran into the ring.
The Elite scattered like cockroaches before it was later announced that Bryan Danielson would face Nick Jackson this Friday on Rampage:
Next week on AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson will team up with Christian Cage, Frankie Kazarian, and Luchasaurus to face The Elite - Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Cole.
It's clear that Bryan Danielson is going to have to jump hurdle after hurdle before he gets to AEW World Champion Kenny Omega again.
