#6. Will Ospreay vs. Chris Jericho
As previously mentioned, Chris Jericho recently said in an interview that he believes Will Ospreay will join AEW one day. He even admitted that he called the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion when All Elite Wrestling started in the beginning of 2019. The two men have developed a real-life friendship over the past few years, with Jericho even helping Ospreay with his heel persona.
This is obviously a matchup that both men desire against one another. Chris Jericho is a superstar that Will Ospreay has looked up to for a long time. Le Champion has admitted in the past that one of his remaining dream matches to have in NJPW is against the leader of the United Empire. They could create magic with each other in Tony Khan's promotion on a major stage.

#5. Will Ospreay vs. former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley
Another star that Will Ospreay has mentioned in the past is the former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. The Purveyor of Violence held the IWGP United States Championship during the global pandemic and was unable to return to Japan to perform for NJPW.
Ospreay expressed envy at the fact that New Japan Pro Wrestling allowed Moxley to remain champion while he was stripped of his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship when he returned to the UK to rehab his injuries. This personal vendetta could be the catalyst for a bitter feud between the two men. Moxley presents a different challenge than Ospreay has faced in the past.
Both stars have been among the top gaijins in NJPW for the past few years. Jon Moxley is also the current GCW World Championship and isn't scared to get involved in a death match. This level of violence is something that Will Ospreay doesn't have a lot of experience against and could make for an insurmountable obstacle in AEW.
