#5 FTR get back in the mix and start a new feud on AEW Dynamite

This week on AEW Dynamite, FTR faced and defeated the team of Dante Martin and Matt Sydal. It's not a shock that Dante and Sydal put in a great effort, but it's also no surprise that they lost.

For FTR, it was about getting back in the mix. They managed to do that successfully. Later on in the show, Darby Allin faced FTR's fellow Pinnacle member Shawn Spears. While Spears put on a good match, it was Allin who picked up the win.

FTR confronted Darby Allin and Sting post-match, and a beatdown began. While Allin and Sting held their own, they ultimately succumbed. It was Sting who took a devastating blow at the hands of FTR, and Tully Blanchard added insult to injury by wiping off his face paint.

Darby Allin and Sting vs. The Pinnacle is the direction we'll see going forward. We're not sure if it's a short-term feud or it's simply going to conclude in a week or two, but it seems like a logical next step for Darby Allin and Sting.

Next week on a special episode of AEW Dynamite, Allin and Sting and will face FTR.
