Ever since AEW star Sting announced that he was going to retire after the Revolution pay-per-view next year, the whole wrestling world has gone into a meltdown.
A lot of fans are expectedly sad that the wrestling icon will be hanging up his boots, but some fans are also not happy that their favorite star is retiring.
There has been a lot of speculation about who will be his final opponent. Could it be Darby Allin? Maybe MJF? Or even Malakai Black?
Sting has been regularly wrestling in tag team matches in AEW, and it is more than likely that he will be involved in a tag team match at Revolution. It is also likely that if that is the case, it will be Darby Allin who will be his tag team partner.

Sting referenced a lot of names during his speech on Dynamite last week, and one name that stood out was that of Ric Flair.
Given that the 74-year-old WWE legend has a penchant for doing the craziest things out there, is there be a possibility that he could come back for one last match and retire together with Sting? Only time will tell.
How can the dream tag team match go down at AEW Revolution?
When Ric Flair wrestled his ‘final match’ last year, he did it with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo in a tag match against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.
That could once again be the case this time around, with Andrade also being in AEW. A dream tag team match involving Sting & Darby Allin vs. Ric Flair & Andrade El Idolo could bring the house down.
Given that both Darby and Andrade are safe wrestlers, there should be no worry on the part of the older wrestlers. The two young stars can carry the match and make sure that they make the veterans look good.
If that happens, then it could be the perfect way for Sting to have his final hoorah, and the mentioning of Flair in his speech in a special way on Dynamite last week would make even more sense.
