AEW star Jon Moxley is married to former WWE presenter Renee Paquette

Jon Moxley is one of the biggest names to leave WWE and join AEW. The 35-year-old debuted in 2012 as part of The Shield and went on to have a very successful career in Vince McMahon's company.

During his seven-year run, Moxley won the Intercontinental Championship three times, the RAW Tag Team Championship twice, the WWE Championship once, and the United States Championship once to become a Grand Slam Champion. However, despite his enormous success, he decided to leave the company after his contract expired in April 2019.

A few months later, Moxley joined AEW while his wife, Renee Paquette, remained in WWE, where she worked as a presenter.

Like her husband, Paquette has had a lot of success in WWE. She joined the company in 2012 and went on to become the main presenter. The 35-year-old also became the first female to join the RAW commentary team on a full-time basis.

In August 2020, she followed in her husband's footsteps, deciding to leave the promotion. The former presenter later explained her decision on Sunday Night's Main Event podcast.

"I've been there for eight years and I kinda did everything I could possibly do. I felt like I was bouncing around and continually trying to carve this path out for myself and I feel like I hit my ceiling," said Renee Paquette.

Although there has been speculation that Paquette could be joining her husband Jon Moxley in AEW, she is yet to take that step. Instead, she recently began her podcast, "Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette." She also launched a YouTube channel.
