#4 AEW star Cezar Bononi (6'6")
Current AEW performer Cezar Bononi's run in WWE NXT started with promise. In 2017, he defeated Andrade Cien Almas and received the year-end award of Future Star of NXT. However, the follow-up to the award-winning year was underwhelming. Bononi languished for three years before being released from his contract. He started working for AEW soon after, making appearances at the company's YouTube shows.
Bononi, a member of the AEW faction The Wingmen, stands at 6'6" and has shown steady improvement as a pro-wrestler. He may not frequently appear on AEW Dynamite, pay-per-views, and may lose most matches, but if he shows enough improvement and can impress the higher-ups, he may turn into yet another AEW success story.
#3 AEW and Bellator star Jake Hager (6'7")
Jake Hager's stint in WWE ended after two world championship wins, Money In The Bank victory, and the US Championship in his early days before being relegated to the lower mid-card for the rest of his career.
AEW has used Hager remarkably well by aligning him with The Inner Circle. With solid workers such as Santana, Ortiz, and Chris Jericho surrounding Hager, he aces his role as the enforcer of the faction, being the centerpiece of many beatdowns. Hager's tall frame and his unbeaten MMA experience help him flawlessly execute the enforcer position.
