The WWE Hall of Famer, Adam Copeland (fka Edge) could make his return and deal with a mystery attacker in AEW. The mystery attacker has still yet to be revealed on TV.
The legendary wrestler and commentator, Taz, was attacked in a parking lot weeks ago and has not been on the announce desk since. While the mystery attacker of Taz has still not been revealed, his son, HOOK recently announced that he would reveal the attacker on Dynamite this Wednesday. The mystery attacker could be revealed as Christian Cage.
There have been subtle hints of Cage being the mystery attacker and HOOK recently confronted him as well. Assuming HOOK will reveal Christian as the mystery attacker, he could suffer an assault from The Patriarchy. Nonetheless, Adam Copeland (fka Edge) could make his return and make the save.
Copeland has been out of action for nearly five months after he suffered an injury during his steel cage match at Double or Nothing. Nevertheless, Copeland could renew his epic feud with Christian Cage by saving HOOK from The Patriarchy in case Cage is revealed as Taz's mystery attacker this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Adam Copeland (fka Edge) provided an update on his injury last month
Adam Copeland (fka Edge) provided some positive updates on his recovery last month. In an interview with AMNY, The Rated "R" Superstar revealed the following:
"It feels good, it still doesn’t have the full strength back yet. The explosion isn’t there, the full mobility isn't back yet," Copeland said. "I was able to get in the ring and kind of roll around a little bit just to see where it’s at. I felt some of the deficiency, it still isn’t up to it but it is in the right direction."
Moreover, Copeland had to relinquish his TNT Championship after suffering the injury. Only time will tell when he will be back on AEW TV.
