Kenny Omega (C) vs. Christian Cage at All Out (AEW World Championship Match)
If Omega wins, he will break the record for the longest AEW World Championship reign.
Kenny Omega immediately went for a knee strike, but Christian sidestepped it and went for the Killswitch. Omega broke free and the match quickly spilled out to ringside. Omega put a table on top of a prone Christian and hit him with a double stomp.
Back in the ring, the AEW World Champion was totally dominating. He had a modified choke hold locked in as Christian tried to make it back to his feet. Back out to ringside, Omega hit a moonsault off the barricade on the second attempt.
Back in the ring, Omega was in control but made the mistake of taking too long on the top turnbuckle. Christian caused him to lose his footing and hit a hurricanrana of the top rope. Both men were back on their feet, and Omega had Christian upon his shoulder. The IMPACT Wrestling World Champion countered and hit a reverse DDT.
Christian followed it up with a Tornado DDT before attempting the Killswitch again. Omega broke out of it with a back elbow before following it up with a V-Trigger in the corner. Omega followed it up with a V-Trigger in the middle of the ring, and Christian had to hold on to the bottom rope so that Omega couldn't pin him.
Christian then attempted to hit a Killswitch in the apron but Omega blocked it. The AEW World Champion then attempted a One Winged Angel, but Christian countered. Christian then hit a Spear, sending Omega through a table at ringside.
Back in the ring, Christian cut Omega in half with two more Spears, but he only got a nearfall of it. Omega replied with a Ripcord V-Trigger, and Christian looked down and out at this point. However, that wasn't the case as Christian reversed the Tiger Driver into a Cloverleaf.
Gallows and Anderson came out at this point as Don Calls distracted the referee. Omega ended up taking Gallows out with the V-Trigger by mistake. Christian then hit the Killswitch, but Omega kicked out at two.
Don Callis entered the ring for the distraction but fled as soon as Christian turned his attention. Christian went for a super-Killswitch from the top rope, but Omega countered it into a One Winged Angel, and it was all over. Kenny Omega retained the AEW World Championship.
Result: Kenny Omega def. Christian Cage
Grade: A-
The Young Bucks came out after the match at AEW All Out, and The Elite continued to attack Christian. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy tried to come out and make the save, and they were also taken out.
The lights went off as Omega cut his post-match promo and Adam Cole's music hit as he came down to confront his former friends. A huge shocker at this point as Cole took out Jungle Boy and aligned himself with The Elite once again at AEW All Out.
Just when it looked like the show was over, Daniel Bryan came out making his AEW debut. He joined forces with Christian, Luchasaurus, and Jungle Boy to take on The Elite. Omega fled the scene as Bryan took out Nick Jackson. He took Jackson out with his patented running knee strike, sending The Elite scurrying to the back. What a way to end the show. This is why we love pro wrestling.
