Adam Page and Matt Hardy were interviewed by Tony Schiavone backstage on AEW Beach Break, where Page came across as hesitant to declare himself as part of a team. However, Hardy said that it was only for a night, and they weren't officially a team at that moment.

Hardy and Serpentico started off the proceedings on AEW Beach Break. Page and Hardy worked quite well in the opening stages of the match. Luther tagged in and finally shifted the momentum towards The Chaos Project.

The action soon got chaotic with all the four men fighting off each other, with Page easily being the star of the show. Luther tried to distract Page from hitting the Buckshot Lariat to Serpentico, but the former laid him down. Page got back into the ring and executed the Buckshot Lariat, but Hardy tagged himself in and pinned Serpentico by himself.

Though Page was shocked for a moment, they nonetheless decided to celebrate together. It turned out to virtually be a squash match to put over the newly formed duo of Hardy and Page.
