Angelico and Rey Fenix got the AEW Dark: Elevation main event underway. Both men showed off their amateur wrestling skills. Fenix tied up Angelico's legs for an early submission that Evans was forced to break up.
Angelico locked in the Full Nelson but Fenix powered out. Both men tagged their partners in. Penta popped the AEW fans with his signature moves. Evans dropped Penta to the outside but missed the suicide dive. The former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion tagged in Rey as both Luchadors worked together to ground Evans. Fenix chopped Evans as he leaned against the ropes.
Angelico got a cheap shot as Evans took control with kicks to Rey's chest. It was TH2's turn for some tandem offense on Rey Fenix. Angelico got a near fall before locking in the Dolphin Clutch. Penta broke up the hold. Evans hit a standing Phoenix moonsault for a near fall.
Fenix attempted to fight both men off but the numbers game caught up. Fenix hit a stunning cutter and tagged in Penta. He hit slingblades on both TH2 members before planting Evans with a DDT.
Penta tagged in Fenix who caught Evans with a devastating superkick. The Lucha Brothers hit the double stomp pile-driver for the pinfall.
