Danny Limelight vs. Konosuke Takeshita (AEW Debut) on AEW Dark: Elevation

Despite being only 25 years old, Japanese wrestler and AEW debutant Konosuke Takeshita was considered a veteran as he has been in the business for some time now. There was a lot of hype surrounding Takeshita's Elevation debut, but how did he fare? Let's find out.

Limelight and Takeshita tried to get into a dominant position early on with a fast-paced sequence of hammerlocks and takedowns.

Danny got a few roll-ups on Takeshita, but the match was generally even coming off the gates. Limelight faked the handshake and slapped Takeshita across the face. Konosuke reacted with a massive leg lariat.

Takeshita then landed a forearm strike, followed by an elevated clothesline. He got a near fall with a big sit-out senton from the middle turnbuckle. Limelight, however, used his feet to good effect and created some separation.

He then hit a springboard double stomp on Takeshita's back for a two-count. Snapmare takeovers and elbow drops were next to come out of Limelight's arsenal of moves.

Takeshita responded by connecting with a series of brutal chops in the corner. Limelight raked the Japanese star's eyes and regained control of the match with a swinging neckbreaker.

Danny came over the top with a rolling senton for a two-count. Takeshita delivered a huge, and we mean, really HUGE blue thunder powerbomb to tip the match's scales in his favor.

Takeshita built up a head of steam and connected with a kick in the corner. He received a near fall on Danny with a vicious brainbuster.

Limelight fought out of the waist lock, and he engaged in a brawl with Takeshita. Both men threw hands, and the sequence ended with a pop-up powerbomb from Takeshita on Limelight. However, Danny kicked out!

Limelight came over the top and trapped Takeshita on the ropes. He then bounced off the ropes twice to execute a DDT. Takeshita was still in the contest, but Limelight looked for the finish.

The Japanese star reversed the Cazadora and connected with a stiff elbow strike followed by a spinning discus lariat.

Limelight reversed the German suplex into a roll-up, but Takeshita showed freakish power to wheelbarrow Danny into a German suplex. Takeshita maintained the bridged pin and picked up the win on AEW Dark: Elevation. What a match! Phenomenal!

FTR (w/ Tully Blanchard & Wardlow) vs. Jay Lyon & Midas Black (AEW Tag Team debut) on AEW Dark: Elevation

The masked Jay Lyon and Dax Harwood bumped fists to begin the match. It didn't take time for Lyon to lose his mask, and he rolled over to the outside. It seemed like an accidental unmasking.

Midas Black grabbed the mask, and Lyon wore it back near ringside without anyone getting a peek of his face.

The match resumed and Lyon had Dax in a side headlock. However, Dax Harwood worked on his opponent and executed a big back-body suplex. FTR completed an assisted lariat as Cash Wheeler was now the legal man.

"Dax The Ax" was back in, and he chopped Jay Lyon in the corner. Harwood continued to wear Lyon down as Midas Black urged the crowd to cheer for his partner.

Lyon finally dropped Harwood with a sloppy handspring kick. Midas Black got the hot tag, and he chopped away on Dax, followed by a European uppercut.

Harwood avoided a few strikes and hit a brainbuster suplex. FTR then executed The Goodnight Express for the win on AEW Dark: Elevation.

PAC & Rey Fenix of Death Triangle vs. Andre Montoya & Vary Morales on AEW Dark: Elevation

Fenix trolled Montoya with a handshake offer, but Andre - a Chilean in-ring veteran, executed a standing hurricanrana.

The match took a predictable route as PAC got in, and Death Triangle hit the stereo pump kicks on Morales and Montoya. PAC and Fenix toyed with Montoya, and they allowed him to tag Morales.

Fenix hit the ropes in full throttle and delivered a nasty kick on Morales. Fenix broke the pinfall at two as he wanted to inflict some more damage.

PAC got back in and hit a snap suplex on Morales. Montoya attempted to fight off both Fenix and PAC, and he even took them both out with a double handspring elbow. Morales came off the top with a Senton.

Back in the ring, PAC caught Montoya's kick. Death Triangle went on to execute an intricate double-team sequence of kicks on Montoya. Morales was dumped out of the ring.

Death Triangle hit an assisted double stomp on Montoya. PAC powerbombed him onto the mat before Fenix hit the frog splash from the top for the win on AEW Dark: Elevation.

Result: PAC & Rey Fenix of Death Triangle def. Andre Montoya & Vary Morales on AEW Dark: Elevation
