MT Nakazawa vs. Mike Sydal on AEW Dark: Elevation
MT Nakazawa was in no mood to replicate Mike Sydal's split on AEW Dark: Elevation. The executive VP of Kenny Omega's team stalled the match by attending to calls on his headset.
Sydal executed two arm drags followed by a bridged pin. Nakazawa pulled off the drop toe hold, followed by an unorthodox attack on Sydal's groin area. Nakazawa executed all of his goofy yet popular moves on Mike.
The finish of the match saw Nakazawa briefly distract the referee. MT went for the Macbook attack, but Sydal moved out of the way. Mike trapped Nakazawa in a pinfall for the win.

Shanna vs. Leyla Hirsch on AEW Dark: Elevation
Shanna and Hirsch are both highly-rated wrestlers, which made this match even more appealing on paper.
Hirsch went for an aggressive takedown, and she worked on getting a solid position on the mat. Shanna grabbed the ropes to break the hold and got Hirsch's back, but Leyla switched and was able to get a one-count.
Hirsch and Shanna showcased some good technical mat wrestling, and the crowd loved what they saw from both women. Hirsch, however, was the fan favorite as 'Legit' chants echoed around the arena.
Hirsch and Shanna blocked their respective finishers. Shanna created some distance, took control with some well-timed attacks on the outside.
Shanna hit a big knee strike, and her indecisiveness only got her a two-count. Hirsch, however, managed to lock in the cross-arm breaker out of nowhere. Shanna turned over and slammed Leyla back down.
Shanna got a near fall with a running knee strike. She attempted a double-underhook facebuster, but Hirsch reversed it into a cross-arm breaker. Shanna tapped out.

These two women are certainly not done as they had to be kept away by the referee after the match.
Alex Marvez interviewed Takeshita backstage, but Kenny Omega interrupted the proceedings. Omega told Marvez to go, and Nakazawa entered the frame to be the AEW World Champion's translator.
Omega and Takeshita know each other from working together in Japan's DDT Pro-Wrestling, and Omega needed some help to battle the Sydals.
Omega revealed that Takeshita and Nakazawa will team up to face The Sydals on next week's show. Takeshita didn't look too pleased with the announcement.
Brandon Cutler vs. Penta El Zero M of Death Triangle (w/ Rey Fenix & PAC) on AEW Dark: Elevation
Arm drags, and standing twists from both men kicked off the match. Penta foresaw Cutler's leaping strike and kicked him in the guts. Cutler, however, used his long legs to connect with a few kicks.
Penta stopped a tope suicida with a perfectly-timed kick. He missed the double stomp from the top, and Cutler amped up the pressure with a tope.
Cutler was distracted by the other Death Triangle members' presence, and Penta took advantage of it with a springboard cannonball in the ringside area. Cutler kicked off his comeback with a springboard axehandle, a running lariat, and a vertical suplex. Brandon got a two-count at the end of the sequence.
Cutler reversed the pump handle pickup into a DDT for a near fall. Penta kicked his opponent off the top, and he finally hit the pump handle small package driver for a two-count.
Cutler responded with a reverse DDT for a two-count. Brandon might have busted open his nose as there was blood dripping on the mat.
Penta had Cutler in the armbar, and he just snapped the arm off without any remorse. Penta hit his package piledriver finisher for the win.
