Thunder Rosa vs. Diamante on AEW Dark: Elevation

The supremely talented Hispanic wrestlers got the AEW match underway with an evenly-contested sequence. However, Thunder Rosa delivered the bulk of the offense in the early goings of the match.

The action moved to the outside, and Rosa controlled the match by using her surroundings to significant effect.

Diamante, however, used the ring post to deliver the sliced bread. Both women returned to the ring, and Rosa hit a facebuster for a two-count.

Diamante got Rosa in the corner and delivered a running shotgun dropkick. Diamante kept Thunder Rosa on the mat and connected with a clubbing blow across the throat for a two-count.

The former NWA Women's Champion created some space with an arm breaker, followed by a clothesline in the corner. Rosa hit a dropkick and a double under hook suplex for a near fall.

Thunder Rosa showed tremendous ingenuity to create a scenario where she locked in the armbar from a bizarre position. Diamante stayed in the match by reaching out for the ropes.

Diamante reversed another armbar into a pin, followed by a lariat. She got a two-count from a deep-cover following a snap suplex on AEW Dark: Elevation.

Diamante got into the Cazadora position and executed a Stunner on Rosa for a near fall. Rosa and Diamante began to slug it out in the middle of the ring.

Rosa reversed the Canadian Destroyer, aka the Code Red, and hit the Fire Thunder Driver on Diamante for the victory on AEW Dark: Elevation:

Sonny Kiss & Joey Janela vs. Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky on AEW Dark: Elevation

Joey and Sky kicked off one of the featured matches of this week's AEW Dark: Elevation.

Sky knocked Janela down with a tackle and the heels got hold of the proceedings. Ethan Page got the tag, and so did Sonny Kiss on the other end. Sky was back in the match and he got taken out with a double hip toss and elbow drops.

Page and Sky created a two vs. one scenario against Janela, and The Bad Boy was punished for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sky and Page clobbered Sky in the middle of the ring. Janela did get a two-count from a Sunset flip, but Scorpio Sky hit a follow-up lariat.

Sonny Kiss was seemingly getting impatient in the corner as Janela kept getting worked on by the heels. Sky hit a backbreaker on Joey before getting Page back into the match.

Ethan Page argued with Aubrey Edwards, giving Janela time to recuperate. He rolled over to the other side to make a hot tag to Sonny Kiss.

Kiss' overpowering leg strength managed to take out both Page and Sky. Sonny got a near fall on Sky with a faceplant.

Kiss and Janela hit the double plancha onto Sky and Page on the outside. Sky was thrown back into the ring, but Janela walked right into a DDT. Page was back up on the apron and he received the tag.

Janela blocked Ego's Edge before hitting a thrust kick and a moonsault. Joey tagged Kiss, and the duo hit an assisted knee from the top.

Sky saved the match by breaking the pin. Janela went for the tope, but Sky hit him with an elbow in mid-air. Sky rocked Kiss with an enziguri on the apron after moving Ethan Page out of the way.

Page connected with a shoulder tackle and Ego's Edge on Sonny Kiss for the win on AEW Dark: Elevation.

Ryan Nemeth & Cezar Bononi (w/ JD Drake) vs. Best Friends (w/ Orange Cassidy & Kris Statlander) on AEW Dark: Elevation

This was Chuck and Trent's first match together this year. Ryan Nemeth got the final contest of the night going with Chuck.

Trent got into the match, and he scored a one-count on Nemeth with a Northern Lights suplex. He felt great to be back in the ring, and the crowd popped for his return on AEW Dark: Elevation.

Chuck got back in and missed a running elbow in the corner. Cezar Bononi got a taste of the action with punches and kicks in the corner. Bononi and Nemeth cut the ring in half and kept Chuck in their territory.

Chuck, though, waited for his chance, evaded a punch, and rolled over to the other end to tag Trent. The Best Friends hit a high knee, followed by a running elbow strike on Nemeth. Trent took Bononi out near ringside with a moonsault.

Back in the ring, Trent hit the tornado DDT on Ryan Nemeth. The Best Friends hit the Sole Food on Nemeth, but the Hollywood Hunk surprisingly kicked out! That was pretty unexpected!

Bononi tripped Trent from the outside, and Nemeth hit the DDT. Cezar got the tag, and he executed a running lariat in the corner.

Bononi got a near fall with a pump handle slam on Trent. The action moved to the outside, and Chuck sent Bononi crashing into the ring post.

The Best Friends isolated Ryan Nemeth in the ring and hit the Strong Zero for the win on AEW Dark: Elevation.
