Bear Bronson vs. Brian Cage on AEW Dark
Bear Boulder will be away from the AEW ring action due to an injury, which meant that Bear Bronson was free to compete in rare singles action.
Brian Cage and Bear Bronson engaged in an evenly-contested brawl to start the match. Bronson lit up Cage with some clubbing blows, followed by a splash in the corner. Cage delivered a perfect flatliner on Bronson. He showed off his underrated speed by charging in for an uppercut.

Bronson blocked the German suplex and sent Cage outside with a dropkick. Hook got Cage out of the way, which forced Bronson to abandon the tope suicida. Cage used the misdirection to drop Bronson with a tackle. Brian then rolled Bronson back into the ring and hit the snap suplex with a follow-up leg-drop.
Bronson broke free from the s-grip lock, but Cage hit the knee lift. Bronson responded with a jawbreaker and sent Cage over his head.
Bear just sat down on Cage's chest, and now both men were flat on the mat with an active 10-count. Bronson got up and gathered momentum with a few clotheslines and a huge Bossman slam.
Bronson drove his forearms into Cage's jaw. The FTW Champion got back with three kicks but got caught in the backdrop driver. Despite having a deep hook, Cage kicked out at two and a half. Taz sounded concerned in the commentary booth.
Bronson placed Cage on the top turnbuckle, but Brian escaped and kicked his opponent straight in the head.
Cage executed an Atomic Chair drop, and Bronson kicked out of the subsequent pinfall. Bronson fought out of a fireman's carry but got dropped with a massive discus clothesline. Bronson, yet again, kicked out!
Cage hit a powerbomb, but he wasn't done with the match just yet. The FTW Champ displayed inhuman strength to lift Bronson for the Drill Claw. Insane!

Powerhouse Hobbs (w/ Hook) vs. Mike Sydal on AEW Dark
Hobbs tried to bully Mike Sydal by backing him in the corner. Mike replied with a combination of strikes and a dropkick. Sydal showed craftiness to connect with several punches.
Powerhouse Hobbs, though, stopped Sydal in his tracks with the most vicious crossbody block in AEW! That could have been worth a three-count!
Powerhouse Hobbs hit the hip check in the corner, followed by some good old ground and pound. Sydal tasted success with a few kicks, and he even managed to drop Hobbs to a knee. Sydal went to the top, but he got his feet swept off. Hobbs hoisted Sydal up for 'Town Business,' but Sydal escaped.
Hobbs trucked Sydal with a body block. Ouch! Hobbs finally put Sydal out of his misery with his 'Town Business' finisher on AEW Dark. Hobbs attacked Mike after the match, which prompted Matt Sydal to run towards the ring.
