The AEW Women's Championship match started off with a slugfest, as both ladies traded strikes. Baker took Shida down early and went for a Lockjaw but couldn't hook it in.
Shida almost connected with the Tomoshi knee but Britt managed to dodge it. We got a couple of back and forth roll-up attempts before Shida locked in a bow and arrow lock which she transitioned into body scissors.

The match spilled out to ringside as Shida tossed Britt Baker into the barricade. She then took out both Rebel and Baker with a diving crossbody. The Champion went for her rising knee lift but the doctor countered with a kick.
Back in the ring, Shida was reeling as Baker drove her knee into her. Britt then hit a modified Curb Stomp, driving the Japanese star's face onto the mat.
The champion hit back with a flurry of strikes, dropping Baker to the mat. Shida then threw her challenger into the corner and followed it up with a series of consecutive running knee strikes.
Shida tried to lock in a Stretch Muffler hold but Britt Baker crawled over to the ropes before the champion could execute it properly. Baker caught the Champ with a superkick and followed it up with a slingblade. The challenger then hit an Air Raid Crash for a near fall.
Baker tried to get in the Lockjaw but Shida managed to get back to her feet, only to be clubbed down once again by AEW's resident dentist. Shida replied with a superplex from the top turnbuckle.
Rebel accidentally caught Britt Baker in the head with her crutch at this point but it wasn't enough to put her away. As the ref was in the process of throwing Rebel out, Baker hit a Curb Stomp onto the AEW Women's Title belt.
Shida still managed to kick out. The champion then hit Baker with a jumping knee strike followed by the Tomoshi. Baker, somehow, kicked out again.
Britt Baker finally locked in the Lockjaw and forced Hikaru Shida to tap out at AEW Double Or Nothing.
Result: Dr. Britt Baker def. Hikaru Shida to become the new AEW Women's Champion.
