Before this week, Lance Archer last appeared during the AEW Dynamite anniversary show in October. Archer lost against Jon Moxley in the main event of that episode. And it was Eddie Kingston and his former family - Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix - who made the save when Archer attacked Moxley in a post-match ambush.
The main event of this week's AEW Dynamite saw PAC and Rey Fenix teaming up against Butcher and The Blade. Distractions from The Bunny and Eddie Kingston allowed Butcher and The Blade to pick up a victory last night.
The Death Triangle faction was attacked by Eddie Kingston and his remaining AEW family after the match was over. Lance Archer returned to make the save, mostly out of spite against Eddie Kingston for the aforementioned reason.
Kingston escaped before Archer could get his hands on him at the end of this week's AEW Dynamite. In the relatively short time that Eddie Kingston has been with AEW, he has managed to trigger returning stars like PAC and Lance Archer.
Expect a lot of shenanigans in the weeks moving forward because, on paper, Kingston is outmatched against Archer inside the squared circle.
