An unidentified person ambushed Jon Moxley before he could sign the contract on last week's AEW Dynamite, which is why another contract signing segment was booked between Moxley and Kenny Omega this week.

Before this segment, Omega advised Moxley to keep 'garbage wrestling' out of their upcoming clash. He also took a shot at the AEW World Champion's father in one of the most comical and childish ways possible.

Later in the night, it was Moxley who attacked Omega when the latter was about to make his entrance. The silhouette setting was a great touch in terms of production.

Moxley ended his attack on Omega inside the ring, after which the AEW World Champion went on to cut a great promo. In Moxley's mind, it is definitely Omega, or someone Omega hired to lay him out in the backstage area last week.

While that conclusion might be a little too obvious, it can't be denied that Omega is slowly transforming into his heel persona on AEW Dynamite.

Before signing the contract, Moxley said that the only way Omega can become AEW World Champion is to dig deep and bring out the best version of Kenny Omega from the past. Overall, Moxley's promo did a great job in hyping up their world title match on next week's special AEW episode.
