#3: Austin Gunn made his AEW Dynamite debut; Cody Rhodes sent a message to Darby Allin before their Full Gear encounter
Gunn Club (Billy and Austin Gunn) has been quite impressive on AEW Dark, and the father-son duo finally got to wrestle on a bigger showcase during this week's AEW Dynamite.
WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn has occasionally wrestled on AEW Dynamite in the past. But it was Billy's son, Austin, who made his Dynamite debut this week.
Gunn Club teamed up with Cody Rhodes to take on the Dark Order in a standard main event. It was Austin Gunn who picked up an impressive victory for his team.
After the match, Cody cut a defiant promo against Darby Allin, who was scouting Cody from the bleachers. Darby has a very unique and edgy appeal to the AEW audience. Even if his dark and broody presence may not seem like ideal traits for a television champion, Cody assured that TNT would love being represented by Allin.
But at AEW Full Gear, Cody Rhodes aims to prove that he is the true ace of the company and not Darby Allin.
