Julia Hart set to challenge Jade Cargill
Julia Hart and Griff Garrison were backstage with Tony Schiavone on AEW Dynamite. Mark Sterling came up to them and offered Hart a shot at Jade Cargill's TBS Championship.
Griff tried to stop Hart from taking the match but she said she could fight her own battles and signed on the dotted line.

Red Velvet charged down to the ring and didn't hold back. Hirsch was forced to roll out of the ring to regroup. Hirsch ended up pulling Red Velvet out of the ring and tossing her into the barricade.
Back in the ring, Red Velvet tried to lock in a Triangle but Hirsch used her power to hit a modified Buckle Bomb. Hirsch then caught Velvet with a dropkick across the shoulder before wrenching her arm against the bottom rope.
Hirsch continued to work the arm as we headed to an ad break. Red Velvet hit back with a double knee strike across the back and followed it up with a Spear.
Red Velvet went for the Final Slice but Hirsch replied with a powerbomb followed by a knee strike across the jaw.
Hirsch then locked in the Cross Arm Breaker but Velvet managed to reach the ropes. Hirsch grabbed a handful of tights and rolled up Red Velvet for the win.

Dr. Britt Baker was out next on AEW Dynamite celebrating her accomplishments in 2021. Baker promised that this was only the beginning of the DMD era and added that she wouldn't stop until she was the female performer of the decade.
