It was very hard to tell who the babyfaces in this AEW Dynamite opening contest were and who the heels were, because Hangman Page, a babyface, teamed up with two heels in The Dark Order, and Matt Hardy, who's seemingly gone heel, teamed up with Private Party, who were babyfaces when we checked last.
SO WHO ARE THE HEELS IN THIS MATCH HANGMAN PAGE AND DARK ORDER OR MATT HARDY AND PRIVATE PARTY BECAUSE IM LIKING DARK ORDER AND PAGE MORE pic.twitter.com/WcHKqlywMX
The alliance with the comedy characters of The Dark Order also seems like it's a step down for Hangman Page on AEW Dynamite, as compared to how he has been presented thus far in the promotion.
That said, it was a great match and every participant of the contest worked hard to entertain the audience that tuned in to watch AEW Dynamite.
It was a good way to start this week's edition of AEW Dynamite and one has to wonder if Page and The Dark Order should have picked up the win, considering, one assumes, their alliance needs to be highlighted.
