It is great to see Sting on AEW Dynamite every week, but Tony Khan is trying to replicate the whole WCW angle from 1997 where he did not wrestle for weeks on end, and it simply isn't working anymore. There was a sense of intrigue and mystery because there weren't sites like SK Wrestling allowing fans to take a look behind the curtain.
Do you not find it boring? Isn’t it the same stuff every week?

Now that we know about Sting's limitations at his advanced age, every time he steps out and does nothing at all on AEW Dynamite a bit of his sheen is lost. Yes, everyone has grown up on Sting, and hence, he gets more leeway than more other wrestlers.
But be it Sting or chocolate ice cream, having the same fare every week can just diminish the equity of something that is special.
Mind you, this is not to imply that Tony Khan does not respect Sting as a performer because he certainly does. Even Sting seems happier on AEW Dynamite than he did during his WWE tenure.
