Yes, this is supposed to be an AEW Dynamite review but because of the nature of the program that's happening across promotions, IMPACT Wrestling will also be referenced on this occasion.
The biggest criticism of AEW right from the time the promotion started, is the way in which Kenny Omega has been used. Gone was the beast we'd seen, admired, and respected in NJPW because the AEW Dynamite version of Kenny Omega was merely a shell of the superstar we'd come to love. The new heel version of Kenny Omega looks like a star, travels like a star (on a damn chopper!), and well, is exactly what AEW Dynamite fans have been craving.
And the alliance with Don Callis from IMPACT Wrestling, whether you consider the promo in the bus from last night or the amazing promo in the ring tonight, just smells like money. With all due respect to Rich Swann, the current version of Kenny Omega seems like he's in a different league as compared to the IMPACT World Champion.
