Sammy Guevara and Dax Harwood started the match for their respective teams on AEW Dynamite. Sammy launched himself at Dax before taking him down with a dropkick. Harwood replied with a Spinebuster before laying into Guevara in the corner.
Sammy Guevara replied with chops of his own and then sent him head-first into the turnbuckles repeatedly.
Sammy then launched Harwood face-first into the steel many times as well. Harwood was busted open. Guevara followed it up with a springboard cutter on AEW Dynamite.

Sammy Guevara was outnumbered and pretty much taken apart. Spears had a steel chair with him and he wasn't afraid to use it.
Next man in: Ortiz of The Inner Circle
Ortiz came in with a steel chair of his own and he was all over both Harwood and Shawn Spears. He tossed his chair straight into Dax Harwood's face. Meanwhile, Sammy Guevara hit Spears with an incredible Spanish Fly. Guevara tripped on the top rope after this and landed awkwardly on the mat on AEW Dynamite.

The one-man advantage made a big difference as The Pinnacle took complete control of the match. Guevara and Ortiz took a ton of punishment. Guevara briefly fought back but Shawn Spears locked in a Sharpshooter. Meanwhile, Cash Wheeler hit Ortiz with a Gory Special into the steel.
Next man in: Santana of The Inner Circle
Santana changed the tide of the match for his team. Harwood and Wheeler were down for the moment but used Santana's momentum to launch him face-first into the steel cage. Shawn Spears was all over Sammy Guevara. Ortiz did some damage with the barbed wire he had wrapped around his hand on AEW Dynamite.
