When Santana and Ortiz first made their debut in AEW, every fan was excited to see the former members of LAX in the company. It was almost certain that they would win the AEW Tag Team Championships within a few months.

Unfortunately, they did not expect Santana and Ortiz to receive the treatment they did. The two wrestlers were made a part of The Inner Circle, and while they were certainly high profile, they were not winning anywhere near the number of matches that fans thought they would be winning.

Losses in critical matches set them back and at times it felt like AEW was treating them as an afterthought, although they had been acknowledged to be among the best tag teams in the company.

In recent weeks, The Pinnacle has been feuding with The Inner Circle. This has set the stage perfectly for a match that fans have been waiting for as Santana and Ortiz will soon face FTR in a tag team match.

Ahead of the match, they had a segment to hype the match this week in a press conference. Unfortunately, the segment hardly lasted over a minute, as both sides had their say, not getting to say much before AEW moved on to the next segment.

It's about time AEW gave Ortiz and Santana the treatment they deserve, and hopefully, that's what will happen when they meet FTR.
