Malakai Black will finish off Cody Rhodes for good at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

Cody Rhodes went missing for a number of weeks after suffering a humiliating loss to Malakai Black at AEW Homecoming. The American Nightmare appeared on AEW Dynamite last week to brawl with his rival.

This, along with Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson, is probably the hardest match to call. AEW couldgog for a three-match series, having Cody Rhodes go over at Grand Slam and then have a rubber match at Full Gear. A loss to one of the biggest faces in AEW won't be the end of the world for Malakai Black who has been booked very strongly so far.

While arguments can be made for both candidates to get a win, we are going for Malakai Black to pick up the win in a hard-fought match to finish off his rivalry with the Nightmare Family.

Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega will share the spoils at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

Bryan Danielson will face Kenny Omega in what is probably the most anticipated match of the year. Two of the greatest of all-time, two technical wizards in the prime of their careers and two masters of the professional wrestling business. The two men will lock horns in a match that fans have been clamoring for, for years.

The match will be a non-title clash but both men's claims of being the best wrestler in the world will be on the line. The fact that it's not for the title makes it extremely unpredictable.

AEW would not want their newest star in Bryan Danielson to lose his first match with the company, while Kenny Omega suffered a high profile loss just over a month back to Christian Cage when he lost the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship. Another big loss will be detrimental to his unbeatable aura.

Considering the American Dragon has just joined the company, we predict that this is just the first phase of a long-term rivalry between these two and there will be plenty more to come. This match will probably end without a winner to protect both men and raise the stakes for a future match.

One cannot discount the impact of The Elite and they could make their presence felt by attacking Bryan Danielson post-match, forcing Hangman Adam Page to return and make the save.
