AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Results: Omega vs Danielson, Amazing performance by Sting, Major title match

FTR vs Darby Allin and Sting on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

Darby Allin and Cash Wheeler started the match for their teams on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Sting tagged in almost as soon as the match began, and The Icon locked up with Cash Wheeler.

FTR quickly double-teamed Sting, but the WWE Hall Of Famer went after both men, dishing out clotheslines and bodyslams. The legend then went for a Stinger splash in the corner, but Dax pulled Cash out of the way, sending him crashing into the turnbuckle.

Sting then took down Dax with a shoulder charge before Darby Allin tagged in. Darby was all over both members of FTR. He headed to the top rope and went for a dive out to ringside, but FTR caught him mid-air and slammed him into the side of the ring.

Back from the commercial break, FTR was all over Darby Allin in their corner. Darby avoided both Dax and Cash and tagged Sting back in. Sting clotheslined Cash out of the ring before hitting Dax with a Spinebuster.

FTR tried to hit Darby Allin with the Spike Piledriver, but Sting pushed Cash off the apron. He then headed up himself and hit Dax with a flying crossbody.

Dax tried to hit Sting with a Tombstone Piledriver, but The Icon reversed it and hit a Stinger Splash to Cash Wheeler. Sting then went to hit one to Dax, who had a chair set up in the corner.

Dax sidestepped Sting, who avoided the chair before Harwood charged at The Icon and ended up going through it himself.

Sting then locked in the Scorpion Death Lock as Darby Allin took out Cash Wheeler at ringside with a Coffin Drop. Left with no reprieve, Dax Harwood tapped out.

Result: Sting and Darby Allin def. FTR
