AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Results: Omega vs Danielson, Amazing performance by Sting, Major title match

Dr. Britt Baker (C) vs Ruby Soho (AEW Women's Championship Match)

The main event of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam saw Ruby Soho facing Dr. Britt Baker for the AEW Women's Championship.

Ruby Soho started the match strong, briefly taking control. Soho, with an early knee strike, dazed the doctor and forced her to roll out of the ring.

Ruby then headed to the top rope and took out both Rebel and Jamie Hayter. Britt Baker took advantage and caught Ruby Soho with a superkick kick followed by a swinging neckbreaker out to the floor.

Dr. Britt Baker was in firm control of the match after this, catching Soho in a cravat hold and following it up with vicious knee strikes. Ruby hit back with double knees in the corner followed by a series of running boots. She followed it up with a superkick, taking the champion down.

Both women were back on their feet at the same time and traded right hands. Rebel then handed Baker her glove from ringside. Baker went for the Curbstomp but Soho dodged it and tried to lock in a kneebar before catapaulting her into the corner.

Soho then charged at Baker who caught her with a vicious spinning neckbreaker for a two-count. Both Ruby Soho and Britt Baker were on the top turnbuckle after this as Baker hit an Avalanche Air Raid Crash for a nearfall.

Back on the outside, Baker sent Ruby Soho face-first into the steel steps. Baker then used a distraction from Rebel and Jamie Hayter to lock in the Lockjaw, forcing Ruby Soho to tap out.

Result: Dr. Britt Baker def. Ruby Soho
