#1 Best/Worst: AEW's Christian Cage's surprising return to reignite an underwhelming feud

After weeks of backstage assaults and numbered games, Christian Cage and Jurassic Express finally took revenge from Superkliq during this week's edition of AEW Dynamite.

Captain Charisma interrupted Adam Cole and The Young Bucks' backstage interview tonight, thus launching an attack on them alongside Luchasaurus. Although Superkliq gained the upper hand during the brawl, a returning Jungle Boy saved the day.

The aftermath saw Christian hit Cole with a Conchairto. It seems all but confirmed that both teams would be competing in a trios match at the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view.

But haven't fans already seen them clash once? What's the endgame of this storyline? The company should have converted this into a singles feud between Christian Cage and Adam Cole when the latter took out Jungle Boy a few weeks ago.

Regardless, a potential bout between Superkliq and Christian Cage with Jurassic Express may not disappoint at all. But the company could have planned a better storyline, especially now that you have Christian back on the playfield.
