AEW's newest acquisition, Andrade El Idolo, will be making his in-ring debut this week as he faces Matt Sydal during the Road Rager edition of AEW Dynamite.

The Mexican star stunned the wrestling world by making an appearance on the June 4th edition of Dynamite. Since then, Andrade has only been part of sit-down interviews and in-ring promos. The former WWE superstar initially stated that he wants both the TNT and AEW World Championships. But in AEW, a wrestler needs to prove his worth by rising through the ranks.

The company did a commendable job of not pushing him to the moon in the beginning. Even though this may seem like a one-off filler feud, Matt Sydal can help Andrade El Idolo showcase his athletic style of wrestling ability in front of the AEW Universe.

Since it will be the Mexican star's debut match, the company will focus on building his momentum. So expect Andrade El Idolo to walk out victorious this week.

Andrade's main roster run in WWE didn't yield much success. But things could change this time around as he holds all the credentials to be a top star in the company.
