Tony Schiavone was in the AEW ring with QT Marshall for his long-awaited apology. Marshall made Nick Comoroto drag Tony Schiavone's son into the ring from the crowd. QT and his boys unloaded on Schiavone Jr, leading to Tony's co-commentator on Dark Elevation, Paul Wight, coming out.

Paul Wight looked like he was in no mood to play. Aaron Solow charged at Wight as he entered the ring, leading to Wight hitting The Factory member with a chokeslam. This was the first time the WWE Legend has got physical since arriving in AEW.

The main event of AEW Dynamite saw Chris Jericho facing Wardlow in MJF's fourth labor of Jericho.

Chris Jericho charged at Wardlow as soon as the bell rang but the Pinnacle member quickly overpowered him and rained in kicks and punches in the corner. Jericho headed to the top rope and connected with a double axehandle and hit a Codebreaker, with Wardlow kicking out immediately at one.

Wardlow then pushed Jericho into the corner before tossing him across the ring. The big man followed it up with a massive suplex.
