Sammy Guevara vs Jay Lethal (AEW TNT Championship Match)

Jay Lethal made his AEW in-ring debut against Sammy Guevara, challenging for the TNT Championship in tonight's main event.

We got a brilliant start to the match with both men matching each other. Sammy almost found an opening for his finisher early, but Lethal quickly got out of the dangerous position.

Guevara sent Lethal crashing out to ringside and followed it up with a dive over the top rope. Sammy rolled Lethal back into the ring and headed up to the top rope. He went for a Swanton Bomb, but Lethal got his knees up in time.

Sammy was in a bad state after crashing into Lethal's knees with Doc Sampson having to check on him at ringside. Guevara continued to fight on despite the injury, hitting a Spanish Fly to buy himself some time.

Lethal rolled out of the ring before coming back in and throwing Guevara out. Lethal went for a suicide dive of his own, but Sammy hit him with a suplex at ringside.

Guevara and Lethal continued to brawl outside. Sammy had Lethal reeling on the time keeper's table and headed to the top rope. Guevara went for a dive from the top turnbuckle but crashed through the table as Lethal moved out of the way.

Back in the ring, Sammy Guevara hit a Superkick. Lethal replied with a Figure Four Leglock in the middle of the ring. Sammy reached the bottom rope and hit a Knee Strike after the hold was broken.

Sammy followed it up with the GTH to pick up the win.
