AEW Dynamite Results: CM Punk vs MJF, Paige Van Zant attacks former WWE personality, Hangman Page destroyed

AEW Dynamite Results (2nd February 2022): MJF vs CM Punk

CM Punk had MJF caught in the ropes early on AEW Dynamite and Punk repeatedly hit him with right hands, sending the Pinnacle leader crashing out of the ring.

MJF tried to escape through the crowd but Punk caught up with him and dragged him back down to the ring and tossed the Salt Of The Earth into the ringside area.

Punk rolled MJF back into the ring and hit a bodyslam before grabbing him by the ear and hitting another bodyslam. The fans chanted 'one more time' and Punk duly obliged.

CM Punk then uncharacteristically headed to the top rope but MJF rolled away. Punk jumped back down and charged at MJF who sidestepped him, sending Punk crashing shoulder-first into the corner turnbuckle. MJF stood on Punk's arm on the announcer's table and hit it with a knee drop.

Back in the ring, MJF bit down at the fingers of CM Punk. MJF then hit a Pepsi Twist for a nearfall before going back to work on the arm. Fans chanted 'You s**k' at MJF as he continued to work on the left arm of CM Punk.

CM Punk hit back with a crossbody from the top rope, taking a big risk but it paid off. Punk hit him with more right hands and he followed it up with a neckbreaker.
