MJF vs Captain Shawn Dean on AEW Dynamite

CM Punk ran into the ring before the match had a chance to start on AEW Dynamite. MJF ran out of the ring and ended up getting counted out.

Result: Captain Shawn Dean def. MJF

Grade: D

CM Punk said that this would be how things would go until MJF got in the ring with him. The Pinnacle leader then said everything that came out of CM Punk's mouth was fake and induced boredom.

He added that deep down, Punk knew he was nothing without him. MJF also said he made CM Punk relevant.

MJF also said that the former WWE star liked to compare himself to Roddy Piper but unlike the late legend, he had never main evented WrestleMania. MJF also predicted that he would main event the Show Of Shows someday.

Punk hit back saying that he just wanted to kick MJF's a** instead of talking. MJF then teased wrestling Punk next week before revealing that it would be Wardlow who would be facing him.

CM Punk replied that unlike MJF, he and Piper would face anyone in front of them. Punk then accepted the match against Wardlow next week.
